I currently have a 2000 Honda Blackbird with 35,000 miles.

I am considering a ZX 14 to replace it, but the dealers won't allow test rides.

To make a long story short, I purchased a new FJR1300 in 2005 (without test riding it), and was not happy with the bike due to excessive vibration (compared to the Blackbird) that made my hands numb after an hour. I sold the bike for a big loss.

My concerns about the ZX14 is the smoothness of the engine. Has anyone on this board ridden both the Blackbird and the ZX14, and if so, can you please provide your comments/feedback.
